“Love our Lady and make her loved; always recite the Rosary and recite it as often as possible." ~ Padre Pio

The Rosary was Padre Pio's favorite prayer and he recited it continually throughout the day. He always carried a Rosary with him and called it "his weapon," confident of its efficacy in obtaining graces, favors, and protection against evil. The Blessed Mother revealed to St. Dominic the following promise, "You shall obtain all you ask of me by recitation of the Rosary." After the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Rosary is the second most powerful prayer.

The following Rosary meditations are self-paced, guided reflections for the Joyful, Sorrowful, and Glorious mysteries.  The presentations below unfold the Mysteries through each decade’s story paired with great works of art.  The meditations focus on the traditional 150 Aves or Marian Psalter that Our Blessed Mother revealed to St. Dominic de Guzman and St. Louis de Montfort.

The quotes and accounts are taken from the DouayRheims Bible and The New American Bible, as well as Catholic doctrine.  Artists featured include Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Rubens, Correggio, La Tour, Raphael, Murillo, Caravaggio, Botticelli, Angelico, and El Greco.

Our purpose in developing these meditations was to inspire focus and depth of thought during the Rosary through visual and verbal cues.  Thank you for praying with us and we hope these meditations deepen your devotion to The Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary!
