The new textbook, for which our President Jere Palazzolo co-authored a chapter with Dr. Domenico Crupi and Dr. Francesco Giuliani of St. Pio’s Casa hospital in Italy, was recently awarded 2nd Place for Professional Books by the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada in its 2018 CPA Book Awards. The title of the book is “Catholic Witness In Health Care: Practicing Medicine in Truth & Love“, and the chapter contributed by our team is entitled A Model of Catholic Care – “The Casa”.
